Finding our calling in life and a sense of meaning can be a difficult and often daunting process. This is true for individuals in all walks of life, but it can be especially challenging for individuals whose personal values are in conflict with the values of their peers and/or family members. Likewise, people who have strong spiritual beliefs can sometimes feel at odds with traditional psychotherapeutic models.
I utilize a Jungian approach to psychotherapy that honors and respects the spiritual aspect of the psyche and it’s unique expression for each individual. I have worked with lay people from a variety of religious and spiritual backgrounds who are wrestling with aspects of their faith, individuals who have suffered from spiritual and ritual abuse, as well as clergy from numerous denominations who are struggling with personal issues and/or vocational concerns.
