Mid-life career changes, unanticipated job loss, and retirement are significant transitions in our life that can suddenly alter every aspect of our personal and professional lives. Many of these changes bring with them valuable new insights and opportunities. However, they can also present us with a host of new challenges to overcome. Long-held values and goals can suddenly be put into question. The absence of a clear vision or plan for the future can place added pressure on our families and friends. All of these factors can be difficult to navigate and can greatly hinder the career transition process.

I work with clients to help them identify and overcome the obstacles that are impeding their search for more satisfying, rewarding work/retirement. Having changed careers late in life myself, I personally understand the depth and scope of the challenges that career transitions bring, as well as the rich rewards that come as a result of the process.

Changing careers and preparing for retirement can present very real challenges, but they provide us the opportunity to rebuild our lives into more meaningful and rewarding experiences.
